What is the CalSci Library?
The CalSci Library is a project to help try and archive or link all available gen Numb3rs fanfic online.
How does the library work?
The CalSci Library will either directly post gen Numb3rs stories or list titles of stories and provide a link back to an existing website (with permission from website owner).
If you would like to have your story directly posted to the CSL, please email the following:
- 1) the name you want to write under
- 2) a copy of the story, obviously
- 3) permission on whether or not to list your email addy for feedback purposes
- 4) a short blurb to describe the story (a teaser, if you will)
- 5) does the story fit one of the following categories: missing scene, prequel, crossover, holiday, humor, angst or h/c.
Also, if you would like to answer any of the following that would be great:
- 1) Where you live (country, state, city -- whatever level you're comfortable having posted)
- 2) Your favorite Numb3rs episode to date
- 3) Your favorite character
- 4) The first gen Numb3rs story you ever wrote and when (month and year, if known)
- 5) Any other fandoms you're involved in
Once I have all of the above, I can get your story posted.
If you want to post your story elsewhere and have the CalSci Library link to it, I will need all of the above info, except instead of sending me a copy of the story, send me a link to where the story is currently posted. However, keep in mind I won't be able to link to sites like fanfiction.net. You will need to have those stories directly posted to the CSL.
What are the submission guidelines?
- Stories can be submitted in almost any format. I can open 99% of the files I receive.
- I'm old fashioned and do all my coding by hand, so it's preferred if stories are double spaced between paragraphs.
- If you want to guarantee all italics and bolds are caught, surround them with something obvious (i.e. *bold*)
- Stories have to be complete; no Works in Progress.
- At this point, no slash.
